Repair kit Carburetor SU HS6 (Needle not included)
335 kr
Sluggish throttle response, over-richening on a hot motor or a rich idle usually starts with a worn metering needle or a tired diaphragm spring. This group gathers wear parts for the SU HS6 carburetor in 3-bolt design that sits in pairs on the B18B – the twin-carburetor motor that gave the 1800 between 100 and 115 bhp depending on model year.

The group includes metering needles, springs, levers, retainers and gaskets, plus screws, washers and spring washers for the installation. When rebuilding the twin carburetor, the metering needle's wear profile and the damper piston's spring are typical inspection points when the mixture drifts – if you replace it on one carburetor you should replace the corresponding part on the other to keep synchronisation even between the cylinder banks.
Since the HS6 occurs in several bolt patterns, the 3-bolt flange is decisive for the gaskets and mounts to line up against the intake on the B18B.
