In this group you'll find ball joints, bushings and complete bushing kits, dust seals that protect the joints against dirt and moisture, plus screw, washer and lock nut for correct tightening. Shims also belong here and are used to set the wheel angles when the front suspension is built up anew.

A common restoration step is to replace the entire bushing kit in one go instead of chasing individual play – the steering then often becomes tighter and the car follows the road better. The condition of the dust seals should be checked at the same time, since a cracked gaiter can quickly dry out a freshly restored ball joint.
