The group includes the chokewire, the grommet for the cowl and the rubber ring that seals against moisture, as well as the lever and link, clamp, screw, nut and lock washer that hold the cable in place. During a rebuild, a common check is that the wire runs freely in its sleeve and that the grommet has not dried out and cracked. Since the linkage differs between single- and twin-carburetor engines, the version should be matched to the B18B before parts are selected.
