The group includes trim moldings in several lengths, fasteners and junctions plus embellisher, washers and friction block that take up play and dampen rattling against the body panel. A common check point during installation is to replace old fasteners and friction blocks at the same time – new anchorages pull the molding tight against the body and prevent it from gapping or vibrating. Keep in mind that the 145 is the five-door version, so molding lengths and divisions differ from the two-door 142 and the 144 sedan.
