If the hand brake is weak or works unevenly between the wheels, a worn or sticking expander may be the cause. This group brings together the expander that sits in the rear hand brake and spreads the brake shoes out against the drum in the hub. Fits Volvo 940/960 – check that the correct side and version match your car when replacing.
