A pulsating brake pedal or shaking in the steering wheel during braking can point to warped or unevenly worn brake discs, and discs that are thinner than the minimum dimension should be replaced rather than machined. Since all 940/960 have disc brakes all around, this is a recurring inspection point on both the front and rear axle.
