A loose brake hose resting against the shock absorber or tire edge is a common inspection point during brake work on the 940/960. This group brings together anchorages and retainers that lock the hose in the correct position and prevent chafing as the wheel moves. Worn or rusty fasteners should be checked at the same time the hoses are replaced.
