Certain jobs on the 850 simply cannot be done right without the right tool. When the clutch is replaced on the transverse five-cylinder DOHC motor, a centering tool is needed to align the driven plate to the flywheel, and when working with bushings and bearings in the Delta-link rear suspension, a press tool is often the difference between a clean job and damaged parts.
