Wind deflectors, plugs for holes in the floor and wheel housing, plus weld primer that rust-protects bare metal before painting also belong here.
A common check point when replacing a fender is to rust-protect the back side and the flanges with weld primer before the part is fitted – otherwise the rust starts again from the inside. Also check that the rubber seals close tightly against the door and roof edges so that water does not collect in the sills and the lower edge of the tailgate.
