Brittle fasteners that have cracked in the cold and rust spots that have crept out from under the moldings are classic wear points on the 245 and 265 estate models. When a molding comes loose or a retainer breaks, moisture works its way in toward the sheet metal, and then the whole joint becomes a checkpoint during restoration.
