Air intake thermostat located in the air filter box that automatically controls the warm and cold air flap (preheating system). The thermostat regulates the intake air temperature to ensure proper engine operation under varying conditions.

If the thermostat is faulty, the engine may continuously draw hot air from the exhaust manifold. This can lead to driveability issues and may damage the mass air flow sensor.
