Head Gasket Set Volvo B230E/F/ET/FT/GT/FB/FK/FX/FD 1985–

Head gasket set for Volvo B230 engines from 1985 onwards with a 96 mm cylinder bore. The kit contains all the essential gaskets required for cylinder head overhaul or removal. Turbo gaskets are not included.

The cylinder head gasket is 1.2 mm thick. The gaskets are manufactured by Dana Glaser in Spain to the highest quality standards. O-rings and oil seals are produced by well-known European manufacturers, while some gaskets are manufactured in Sweden for CVR. All components are then assembled and packed by CVR in Hökerum, outside Ulricehamn, in a practical blue package specially developed for these head gasket sets.

Fits the following Volvo models

• 240, 242, 244 and 245 with B230E/ET/FD engine (96 mm)

• 740, 744 and 745 with B230E/F/ET/FT/GT/FK/FD engine (96 mm)

• 940, 944 and 945 with B230F/FT/FK/FB engine (96 mm)

• 960, 964 and 965 with B230FT engine (96 mm)

Note! Turbo gaskets are not included.

Installation Tips

For the best results, thoroughly clean all sealing surfaces before installing the new gaskets.

Tighten the cylinder head bolts as follows:

• Step 1: 20 Nm

• Step 2: 60 Nm

• Step 3: Tighten a further 90°

Always refer to the Volvo workshop manual if the engine is fitted with special bolts or has been modified.
