The group includes wiper arms, linas, anchorages, nuts, washers, lock washers and locking clips. When restoring, it's worth checking the spline surface on the arm's anchorage against the motor axle – if it's worn out the arm moves and the park position drifts. A loose anchorage also wears on the lina and can cause jerky movement. If the arm is replaced, it pays to look over the nut, washer and lock washer at the same time so the mounting sits free of tension and the arm rests against the glass with even pressure.
