Hood Repair Panel – Hinge Mount Volvo 1800

Precision-made repair panel for the front hood hinge mounting area on the Volvo 1800. This area is commonly damaged or weakened by rust around the hinge mounts, which can cause the hood to crack or the hinge mounting to tear away.

This repair panel allows the damaged section to be replaced without the need for a custom-made repair piece from a body shop, reducing both repair time and cost.

A major advantage is that the threaded mounting points for both hood hinges are already installed. With custom-made repairs, accurately positioning the threaded inserts is time-consuming, and even a few millimetres of deviation can prevent the hood from fitting or being adjusted correctly.
