Cracked padding, faded vinyl and torn seams mean the upholstery is often the first thing you want to tackle in a 142 restoration. Everything is sorted by the color code shown on the car's type plate, since the right code ensures the shade and pattern match the rest of the interior. The selection covers both early and later versions – note that the instrument panel changed from a strip speedometer to a round one in 1972, and that the interior on models from 1973 has its own codes.
