Alternator bracket for B18 1961–1966 – Part No. 419598
Bracket with mounting kit for alternator, intended for B18 engines from 1961 up to model year 1966.
Adapter for installing an alternator on early engine blocks that do not have this bracket cast into the block. From 1967, engine blocks are prepared for alternators.
Suitable for upgrading from a DC generator to an alternator on older engines, for example for installation of a 55A alternator (part no. 419420). See also part number 462743B.

Additional modifications may be required, such as adjusting the length of the tension arm and the drive belt.
