Oil leaking along the lower edge of the gearbox or a wet patch under the car can point to dried-out oil seals and seal rings in the manual M51 gearbox – a common check point on the 260 series over the years. This category gathers the wear and sealing parts that belong to that exact job.

The group includes oil seals, seal rings and gaskets, plus lock rings, nuts, hexagon screw, hex. socket screw and plugs to seal and lock correctly during disassembly. Since the M51 was fitted in the 262/264/265 with the V6 engine (B27), it is worth checking the version against your car before ordering parts, so that the oil seal and seals fit the correct shaft and housing diameter. During a rebuild, dried-out oil seals and brittle seal rings are typical causes of leaks that should be addressed before the oil level drops.
