About Classic Volvo Restoration
Welcome to CVR – here we have gathered more than 10,000 parts for classic Volvos. Spare parts, styling and accessories – with us you will find most things for most Volvo models.
Classic Volvo Restoration offers a wide and carefully selected range of parts to keep your classic Volvo on the road for many years to come. A large part of our range is still manufactured in Sweden and rightly carries the Made in Sweden mark.
The journey began in 2010, when retired pilot and Volvo enthusiast Toje Carlin founded CVR in North America to supply the market with quality parts for classic Volvos. Today we work from our own 2,500 m² warehouse outside Ulricehamn in southern Sweden, while our North American operation helps us serve customers around the world quickly and reliably.
I usually say I was born straight into a Volvo. Not figuratively – almost literally. My father, Lennart Johansson, introduced me early on to a steel-blue 1971 Volvo 1800E – a car with that proper clunk in the doors and a cabin that smelled a little of leather, a little of petrol and a little of the future.
So my interest in classic Volvos is not something I found later in life – it has been there from the start.
That is probably also why I like contrasts. Refined and raw at the same time. Gleaming chrome and dirty hands. Sunday polishing and Monday wrenching. A car that looks like it belongs in a museum – yet still has to start in sub-zero temperatures without complaint.
Our ambition is to be the obvious quality choice for your classic Volvo, with genuine passion, expertise and respect for cars that deserve to keep rolling on our roads.

Our range has grown the same way everything else here has – out of a real need for parts that measure up. Parts that fit, work and feel right from the start. Not just on the shelf, but on the car.
That is why we work with quality brands we believe in ourselves. Brands we want to stand behind. Brands we would have chosen ourselves when it is time to wrench, restore or get a car back on the road.
Today you will find far more than individual spare parts with us. We have built up a wide range for classic Volvos – from body panels, glass and lighting to brakes, shock absorbers, brake discs and much more. We currently stock over 15,000 items for Volvo.
And although much of what we do has its roots here in Sweden, we ship to Volvo owners all over the world. Whether you are in a garage around the corner or on the other side of the globe, the idea is the same: the right parts, the right quality and help along the way that actually makes a difference.
Made in Sweden – for real
We are proud that much of what we sell is still made in Sweden. Not because it looks good on a label, but because it shows where it counts: the right material, the right fit, the right durability – and that it works when you are standing in the garage with cold fingers, trying to get the car together before Sunday evening.
Our thing is simple: good quality, knowing our parts and a personal touch.
Where do we ship?
Today we pack and ship from our warehouse outside Ulricehamn. From here we deliver parts every day to customers in Sweden, the Nordics, Europe, North America, Australia and Japan. Whether you live around the corner or on the other side of the world, ordering the right parts and getting them delivered quickly and smoothly should be easy.
Although the business has grown, we have held on to what has always mattered to us: personal service, solid knowledge and a close relationship with our customers. We want it to feel easy to shop with us, but also safe to ask when you need help. For us, almost right is not good enough. It has to be right from the start.
