The group includes bushings, O-rings and rubber dampers for the bearing itself, the pull rod that transfers the motion, plus the gear shift lever knob, knob, symbol strip and gear lever gaiter for the upper section. When refurbishing, it is common to replace the whole bushing and O-ring set at the same time, since a crack in the gaiter lets in dirt and accelerates wear.
