The group includes springs and spring kits for return force in the clutch and brake packs, O-rings and seals against internal leakage, pistons that drive the plate packs, plus safety rings and thrust washers that keep shafts and gears in the right position. Screws and individual gears are also included for anyone rebuilding a planetary gear.
A typical checkpoint during a rebuild is precisely the pistons' O-rings and return springs – failing pressure here gives soft or hard shifts long before the transmission gives up completely. The parts are intended for the 240 series' AW55 and replace worn components during a full or partial rebuild.
