Cracks in the rubber hoses and stiff union nuts are common things to check when the exhaust gas recirculation on the V6-equipped B27F starts to leak or causes rough running. The system routes some exhaust gas back to the intake and is temperature controlled, so a sluggish thermostat valve can be one reason the recirculation is not working as it should.
