The group includes shutter shafts and levers that control the shutter movement, return springs and springs that give the gas pedal the right resistance, plus small parts such as screw, nut, washer and plug for mounting and sealing. During a rebuild the throttle shaft and its bearing is a typical check point – play there lets in false air and disturbs the idle. Since the B27 is a V6 with twin carburetor bodies, it pays to go through both sides at the same time so the synchronisation stays even.
