Rough idle, poor cold starting or a rich running condition often comes down to a worn metering needle, a tired diaphragm or leaking O-rings in the Stromberg CD175 (175 CD-2). On the Volvo 240 with the B19 and B21 motor, the carburetor is a recurring rebuild point, and the wear shows up as sooty spark plugs and an idle that is hard to set.

The selection covers wear parts and small components for an overhaul: metering needles, O-rings and springs, plus shutters, washers, lock washers, screws and the carb stop screw. During a rebuild it is common to also check the throttle shaft play and the needle cone against its seat, since worn parts cause air leaks and an incorrect mixture.
The parts fit the CD175 version and should be chosen by motor variant, since the B19 and B21 can differ in carburetor settings and related components.
