Rough idle, hard cold start and a strong fuel smell can point to worn gaskets and dry o-rings in the Stromberg CD175. When the float needle leaks or the damper loses oil, throttle response and fuel mixture become uneven – then a review of seals and springs is a common checkpoint on the 240 with B20.
