The group includes seals and gaskets for shaft seals and cover surfaces, ball bearings and rollers for the bearing seats, plus companion flanges, o-rings, copper washers and screws for reassembly. A common check point during disassembly is the seal against the drive flange and universal joint – if it sits hard and dry, the leak often starts there. It's a good idea to replace the copper washers and o-rings at the same time to avoid opening the gearbox again.
