Brake lines Volvo 700 with ABS (1988-91) (not Turbo)

Rusty brake pipes along the underbody and rear axle are a classic complaint on the 700 cars, and swollen rubber hoses give a slow, spongy pedal before they crack. This category gathers line parts for 740/760 with ABS from 1988-91 without turbo, where the routing and connections differ from the turbo and non-ABS versions.

The group includes brake pipes in various lengths, brake hose sets, joint nipples and fasteners, plus clamps, rubber bushings, anchorages and retainers that lock the pipes to the body. When replacing corroded pipes, it is worth checking the mounting points and rubber bushings at the same time – play that rubs there will wear a hole in the pipe again. On these ABS cars, the system is bled in the order left rear, right rear, right front, left front, which differs from the early ABS cars before 1988.
