A heavy or hard brake pedal on the B200ET turbo engine can point to insufficient vacuum to the brake servo – a worn vacuum pump, a cracked hose, or leakage in the tank and grommets should be checked before condemning the servo. On turbocharged engines the manifold vacuum is not always enough, which is why the vacuum pump supports the servo pressure. This category gathers the parts for exactly that system on the Volvo 780 up to 1987.

The group includes the vacuum pump, hose and pipe for the vacuum line, mount and anchorage screws, plus flange nut, washer and grommet. Since the fit is tied to the B200ET and the chassis range up to 1987, it is worth checking the engine code and model year against the car before replacement, so that hose connections and mountings match.
