Rusty pipe joints, a cracked rubber hanger and a tailpipe that has started to rattle against the underbody are among the most common reasons to go through the exhaust line on a 240/260 with the B28F motor. When an anchorage lets go, the whole system often hangs crooked, which wears on the next joint and causes noise in the cabin.

This category gathers parts that fit the exhaust system on the 240/260 in the B28F version (not J). The group includes tailpipe, gaskets and seal rings for the joints, anchorages and rubber hangers that carry the system, plus hexagon screw, hexagon nut and nut for installation and removal.
A smart checkpoint during the job is the rubber hangers: if they are cracked or hard, the flanges and gaskets are loaded unnecessarily. Replace the gaskets and seal rings at the same time as the pipes are unscrewed, so you avoid leaking joints right after installation.
