A cracked radiator hose, a leaking thermostat or a radiator that can no longer hold the temperature down – on the 740 with B19 and B23 it's the rubber parts and seals that age first. This category gathers the parts you need when the cooling system has to be sealed, freshened up or fully rebuilt.

The group includes radiator hoses and other hoses, hose clamps, rubber mounts for hanging, gaskets, thermostat, fan shroud and radiator. When rebuilding, it's worth replacing hoses and clamps in pairs – an old hose that looks intact tends to crack shortly after its neighbor is replaced, since the rubber has hardened just as much. Check the thermostat too: one that sticks closed quickly causes overheating, while one stuck open keeps the engine too cold and hurts fuel economy. Searching an OE number such as 1336170 makes it easier to find the right hose or component in the range.
