A humming or vibrating electric fan on a 780 is often a sign of tired rubber bushings or a loose bracket rather than a fault in the fan motor itself – a common check point when the fan runs louder than usual. This category gathers the mounting and fastening parts that hold the fan assembly in place against the radiator.

The group includes the bracket, rubber bushing and grommet, along with screw, countersunk screw, washer, flange nut and flange lock nut. When replacing or refurbishing, it is the bushings and mounts that absorb vibration, so it pays to check them at the same time as the fan motor. Dimensions differ between versions, so always compare the old part against the new one before fitting.
