Rusty mounting tabs, a loose attachment and missing fasteners are common wear points on the rear bumper once the car has passed a couple of decades. On the 245 and 265 estate models the bumper often sits exposed to dirt and road salt, so mounting points and seals should be checked at every rear-end restoration.

This group includes mounting and attachment parts for the rear bumper: fasteners, washers and guide washers, hexagon screw and flange screw, nuts, anchorages and seal. Together they cover what is needed to align a skewed bumper and make it sit firmly against the body.
Since the 240/260 series received a facelift during its production run, the design can differ – check the model year and chassis against the correct part before ordering, so the mounting geometry matches.
