The group includes a tie plate and reinforcement to restore load-bearing points, a spare wheel container in the trunk, drip channel along the roof side, plus a mud flap rod. It also covers mounting parts such as anchorage, nut and screw that are often needed when old metal is cut away and new is welded in.
A common checkpoint during restoration is the transition between the inner fender, tie plate and member – moisture collects here and the rust works from the inside. Replace the whole panel section rather than filling over it, so the body lasts for many more seasons.
