Rust at the tank's mounting points, cracks in old fuel hoses and hardened rubber seals are the classic problems when a 140 with a B20 motor needs to be drained or restored. This category gathers tank and fuel system parts that fit the 140 in USA spec for the years 1967-72, where the carbureted B20B/D place their own demands on hose and gasket dimensions.

The group includes the fuel cap, fuel hose, gaskets, grommets and rubber seal along with mounting hardware such as clamps, screws and cage nuts. When replacing, an obvious checkpoint is making sure the rubber grommet and the rubber seal against the body are intact – cracked rubber lets both gas fumes and water in against the tank and accelerates rust. Also check that the hose clamps are correctly sized so the joints stay tight under pressure.
