R camshaft kit B18/B20 – performance profile with a tighter lobe separation angle

With 11.6 mm valve lift and a tighter lobe separation angle of 102°, it delivers a strong, crisp top end and a distinct performance character. The tighter lobe separation angle gives more overlap – noticeable both in how the engine runs and in the power higher up the rev range.

Fitting requirements

The R profile requires at least a stage 2 cylinder head and twin 45 carburettors to work as intended – check that your engine meets these requirements before ordering.

Always fit new tappets together with the camshaft, and use running-in paste (P110) on the lobes and tappets. A new camshaft run in against worn tappets will quickly be damaged.
