Dead instrument lighting, a fuel gauge that sticks or a coolant thermometer that reads wrong are common age-related complaints in the 240/260 panel and should be checked before condemning the whole cluster. This category gathers parts for the combi-instrument on model year 1980, where the 245/244/265 still had their own designations before being merged into 240/260 for model year 1983.

The group includes the speedometer and fuel gauge, coolant thermometer plus bulbs and bulb sockets for the lighting – plus screw, nut and washer for the mounting. Bulb sockets and bulbs are often the first check point with dark gauges, since oxidized contact surfaces kill the lighting long before the gauge itself fails. Always check the model year against your own example, since the panel design changed at later facelifts.
