Sun-faded and cracked turn signal glass is a classic wear point on the early 240/260 – the plastic yellows and the seal against the lamp housing lets go, allowing moisture and dirt to collect behind the glass. This category gathers front turn signal parts for cars up to 1980, that is the version before the larger facelift for model year 1981.

The group includes turn signal glass, complete turn signal lamps and turn signals, gaskets and grommets, bulbs as well as mounting details such as screw and flange nut. For those who want to restore the original feel, the clear/white glass sought after on US-spec cars is also available. When renovating the lamp it is worth checking both the glass sealing gasket and the bulb socket's contact plate – loose material and a corroded base often cause flashing faults or a dead lamp before the bulb itself is spent. Since the front and glass changed during the model run, it pays to start from the chassis number for the correct fit.
