The group includes regulator channels and side windows for the window mechanism, plus latch bodies and lock buttons for the lock itself. Added to this are small fasteners such as the screw, washer, lock washer and spring – often the parts that have rusted solid or been lost during a previous removal. When restoring a rear door, it is worth checking that the regulator channel runs cleanly and that the lock spring still has tension before the panel is screwed back on, otherwise the fault quickly returns.
