Cracked fasteners, bent moldings and discolored chrome are among the first things you notice on a 262 from the years 1976-78. When the old plastic fasteners dry out and crack, the molding starts to come loose or fall off, and then it rarely helps to just screw it down harder.

In this category you'll find parts for exactly that job on the 262 with chassis from 1976. This includes the trim molding and embellisher, drip channel over the door openings, as well as the fasteners, retainers, washers, screws and friction blocks that lock everything in place. During a restoration it's often the mounting hardware – fasteners and retainers – that should be checked before an old or new molding sits straight and without play.
Since the 262/262C shared its body with the rest of the 260 series but had its own trim, it's the model year and specification that determine which molding profiles and mounting points fit.
