When replacing, it's worth checking the sheet metal behind the molding and renewing old fasteners at the same time – new anchorages sit considerably more securely than dried-out original plastic, and the right drip channel keeps water away from the joints.
Since the specification differs between model years, 242-specific moldings and anchorages are preferable to generic parts, so that joints and holes line up against the body.
