Steering gear servo Volvo 260 (1975)
Oil leaks at the servo connections or a squealing, slipping belt drive are common checkpoints on the power steering. On the 260 from 1975 the leak is often found in the hollow screw's copper washers or in the return hose, while poor power assistance can point to a worn or slack V-belt.
