A brittle plastic fastener that cracks when you try to remove the panel, a loose hatch, or an edge moulding that has come away from the door opening – these are the common small faults that make the cabin of a 240/264 sedan look worn before its time. This category gathers the interior trim parts that keep panels, strips, and cover hatches in place on the four-door models.

The group includes fasteners and lock clips for panel mounting, panels and cover hatches, plugs for holes and mounting points, edge moulding and surround trim, plus seals that keep out drafts and rattles. During installation, the most common check is to replace all fasteners at once – the old ones go hard and snap easily, and a panel that sits loose rubs against the plate and causes noises.
Because the sedan body differs from the estate (245/265) in its doors and rear section, it's worth checking the mountings and trim lengths against the four-door version specifically before you order.
