Cracked panels, loose lids and missing fasteners are among the most common complaints on the instrument panel in early 240/260. This category gathers parts belonging to the panel on cars up to 1980 – before the larger facelift in model year 1981, where details such as mounting holes and panel design differ and should be checked against your car.

The group includes panels and lids for the instrument panel, fasteners and key blank along with mounting hardware such as cross recessed screw, hexagon screw, screw and washer. A common checkpoint during restoration is the fasteners – when the original clips have become brittle and the washers have lost their tension, panels and lids sit loose, and a complete replacement gives a quieter and more solid fit.
