Rear windshield washer Volvo 245/265 (-1980)
A missing washer spray on the tailgate is rarely down to a single cause – a brittle hose, a clogged jet or a tired washer pump are common things to check on the 245 and 265 estate models up to 1980. On the early cars, a leaking non-return valve can also let the water run back, so the pump has to work for a long time before the spray arrives.
