Volvo 1800 Gear box
Harsh shifting, an overdrive that no longer engages or oil seeping at the box seals – those are the usual reasons to dig into the 1800's transmission. Which parts fit is determined by gearbox and engine: the manual M40, M41 and M410, the automatic BW35 plus the overdrive, which came as a D-type behind the B18 and a J-type behind the B20.
