Oil mist around the cover on the gearbox or a back-up lamp switch that has stopped lighting up are common check points on the 1800 with M41 overdrive. This category gathers wear and sealing parts for the gearbox cover on the M41/M410 box from chassis 30001, that is the fuel-injected 1800E era. During a rebuild, it is often the seals and the lock washer that first need attention when the cover's fit and shift feel are to be restored.

The group includes the lock washer that controls the position of the shift arm, copper washers and O-Rings that seal against the cover's grommets, a back-up lamp switch and bushings. Since the design differs from the earlier 1800S boxes, the chassis number and gearbox type should be checked before parts are selected, so that the cover and sealing surfaces fit.
