Paint Volvo 140

Stone chips on the front end, rust blisters at the wheel housings and chipped paint around the door locks are among the most common cosmetic flaws on a 140. This category gathers paint products for both larger refinishing jobs and small touch-ups, so the shade matches the car's original color.

The group includes car paint and touch-up paint in original shades, primer as an adhesion layer, engine paint for the block and parts, rust protection spray for exposed sheet metal edges, plus body spray for even coverage. A sticky cloth is also included to wipe the surface free of sanding dust just before painting – a step that otherwise leads to grainy, poorly adhering results.

Remember to clean and prime bare sheet metal before applying top coat; the primer determines how well the paint holds up over time. For touching up minor damage a brush can or spray is often enough, while larger areas benefit from being sprayed in several thin layers.
