Heater system/Fresh air unit Volvo 140 (Early)

A cracked heat hose, a sticking heater valve or a heater core dripping on the floor are classic issues on the early 140. Heat is routed through coolant hoses to the heater core and regulated by the heater valve – when the rubber hardens or the valve leaks, you end up with either a cold cabin or fogged-up windows.

This category gathers parts for sealing and restoring the heat and fresh air system on the early 140. The group includes the heater valve, hoses and hose clamps along with small fasteners such as screws, nuts, washers, wave washers and grommets. During a rebuild, hose clamps and hose grommets are typical checkpoints – dry, brittle rubber and rusty clamps are often the cause of leaks and poor heat.
