The group includes handles, light guides, buttons, retainers, washers, lock washers and fasteners as well as chokewire. A typical checkpoint during restoration is that the handle's retainer and lock washer are seated correctly – if the anchorage is loose, the control can feel loose and the cable pull crooked. Since the 140 was available in several model years with a revised instrument panel, the version should be compared against the car before replacement.
