Head Gasket Set Volvo B20B/D – 0.8 mm

Head gasket set for Volvo B20B and B20D engines with a 0.8 mm cylinder head gasket. The kit includes all necessary gaskets and seals for cylinder head overhaul or removal and is designed for engines equipped with twin carburetors.

The cylinder head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket and valve stem seals are manufactured by Dana Glaser in Spain, a well-known producer of engine sealing components. The remaining gaskets and O-rings are manufactured by CVR in Sweden. All components are then assembled and packed by CVR in Hökerum, outside Ulricehamn, in a blue box specially designed for these gasket kits.

Fits the following Volvo models

• Amazon 120, 130 and 220 (1969–1970) with B20B engine

• 140, 142, 144 and 145 (up to 1972) with B20B engine

• P1800 (from 1969) with B20B engine

Installation Tips

For the best results, thoroughly clean all sealing surfaces before installation and fit the cylinder head gasket dry according to Volvo specifications.

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in three stages:

• Stage 1: 30 Nm

• Stage 2: 60 Nm

• Stage 3: 90–95 Nm

After the engine has reached operating temperature and cooled completely, retighten the cylinder head bolts to 90–95 Nm.
