Important information

Check the part number on the existing air mass meter before ordering.

The air filter housing contains a thermostat (1266826) that automatically regulates the supply of warm and cold air. If the thermostat is faulty, the engine may continuously draw in warm air from the exhaust manifold. This can cause running problems and in some cases damage the air mass meter. Therefore, check the thermostat to rule out an underlying cause of the fault.

Fitting

Check the air filter, intake hoses and connectors when carrying out the replacement. Make sure the intake system is airtight so that the air mass meter works correctly.
